Friends with Benefits

April 1, 2010

There’s something to be said for being able to completely shut out roomies. That’s still how I think of my time in residence at Concordia University in Montreal. You get all the benefits of having a bunch of people to hang out with and drink with and be hung over with, but still with the chance to shut everyone out when you need to study or write your paper at 3 a.m, but don’t take my word for it.

The residences at MacEwan have handy bachelor, two bedroom and four bedroom options with all the furniture you need. Why move a bed if you don’t have to? There’s a virtual tour available.

The other great thing about residence is the cost. The Grant Mac Residence is downtown without the price you’d pay for a downtown apartment, especially when you add in the heating, electricity, cable and internet costs. You pay for more privacy, but try finding a four bedroom apartment downtown.
