24 Hour Study People

April 2, 2010

Looking for a quiet place to cram during exam week? Starbucks full of too much annoying coffee talk? MacEwan’s got you covered.

Last year, the Student’s Association lobbied to create a 24-hour study space on campus where students could work without distraction from the outside world. Located at the downtown campus on 104th ave, the space is fully equipped with everything you need to cram in style. That means, plenty of tables and seating, wireless internet access, and even security to guarantee safety.

The only downside to the space is that there is no cafeteria or snack machine access which means you have to bring your own coffee to stay alert and your own munchies to stave off malnourishment (tip: sucking lemons is a good way to avoid scurvy).

With exam month coming up fast, I would encourage you all to check it out. You never know when you’ll need a quiet corner at 1 am.
