MacEwan students still enjoying the win

April 4, 2010

Just one week ago the Alberta Dean of Business Case Competition took place at SAIT in Calgary. Four students from the MacEwan School of Business took home the coveted first place. These students have taken first place in the last three case competitions.

The team was comprised of Raman Perhar and Evan Cherot (both second-year accounting diploma students), Zachary Bartel and Nicole Tupechka (in their first year of management studies). Faculty advisors Dr. Mahdi Rostami and Raina Rud accompanied the students.

Students are presented with business problems and must use their analytical, decision-making and communications skills to come up with strategic solutions. They must present their solutions to a panel of judges from the business community.

The team took home a $4000 prize.
