With school coming to a close, it might be nice to take some time off and learn something new. Don’t worry you won’t be tested on it.

An Aboriginal PresenceAt this month’s Tidbit Cafe session, the MacEwan Staff Association (MSA) Professional Development Committee is providing information on Aboriginal Cultural Diversity.

The session will provide an overview of the differences and uniqueness of the First Peoples of Canada-First Nations, Metis and Inuit. It will also include a presentation about the myths and realities of Aboriginal life.

Eva Stang, Manager of the Aboriginal Education Centre will be the presenter for the event.

The Aboriginal Education Centre offers a diverse range of services; such as, academic counseling, personnel support services and cultural programming. The Centre is a unique community environment where students gather, study and learn.  All are welcome.

    Taking a break from school to learn about a different culture is always a rewarding experience. The world would be a much better place if people understood each other. Thanks for the wonderful updates.
