Explore student artwork

April 16, 2010

You have probably heard of Studio 54, but have you ever heard of Studio 109?

Studio 109 is an exhibit featuring artwork by students graduating from MacEwan’s Fine Art program.

The exhibit provides Edmonton’s vibrant art community, prospective students, and the public an opportunity to explore the diverse and expressive talents of these young artists.

The exhibition is free of charge.

On a personal note, I love going to this type of event, because I find art so interesting and thought-provoking. Whether you are with friends, family or your significant other, it tends to evoke passion and deep-conversation.

It is always enjoyable to explore the visual world. Not to mention, this show is a testament to graduate’s talents.

For more information about the event or program, call 780-497-4322 or visit http://www.macewan.ca/fineart.

Thanks for letting me know about this. I think its great when people feature the work of students. There are so few opportunities for student artists to get their work out there. I will have to check this out!
